I did notice that the set looked the same, but I thought they might share. I guess that was a silly thought, wasn't it? Oh well, nothing good lasts forever. There was just so much potential left for Dead Like Me!

This show is dead and gone. They film it at Bridge Studios in Burnaby, BC and the sets have already been aquired by the Stargate folks. Check out Season 8's 'Threads' to see them make good use of 'Der Waffle House'.

It was really sad to walk around the studio last April and see all the spots that said 'dead like me' and know that there wouldn't be any more. I really liked the show.

Allan I think all Kim meant was that Mandy plays (imo) a character far removed from the one he did on Chicago Hope and would ask, while not expecting you to change your mind, but give it a chance?

It hardly seems fair to judge Mandy Patnikin based on one portrayal in a show that you didn't like... or when you haven't seen an episode of Dead Like Me...

Maybe the he couldn't be good because the writing stunk on Chicago Hope... But there's no problem like that on this show. As far as Dead Like Me goes I think he's fantastic as Rube. I can't picture any other actor in that role.

yes yes, me loves this show. I'd been gone for the last 4 or 5 episodes to air (cuz I was in TN where my mum has HBO but not Showtime). But I had my cable dvr record them and watched them when I got back.
